Whirlpool Corporation - Stock Analysis Overview

Conducted a comprehensive equity research analysis on Whirlpool Corporation applying multiple valuation methodologies, including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Dividend Discount Model (DDM) and relative valuation using P/E multiples. Built integrated financial models to forecast revenues, margins and free cash flows under different macroeconomic scenarios.

Incorporated technical analysis to assess price trends and momentum indicators alongside macroeconomic analysis, evaluating the impact of interest rates, housing demand and consumer spending cycles. Supplemented the valuation with sell-side analyst reviews and market sentiment analysis to benchmark assumptions and expectations.

Extended the analysis to include ESG considerations, assessing sustainability initiatives and governance structure, along with supplier and cost-chain analysis to evaluate operational resilience. The project demonstrates strong capabilities in financial modelling, valuation, data interpretation and multi-dimensional investment analysis, combining both quantitative and qualitative frameworks to form a well-rounded investment view.

"The valuation case depends less on a single fair-value output and more on whether cash flow recovery, dividends and market multiples tell the same story."

Fletcher Building - Stock Analysis Overview

Performed an in-depth equity research study on Fletcher Building using a structured valuation approach, applying DCF, DDM and P/E multiple analysis to assess intrinsic value and relative positioning. Developed forward-looking financial projections incorporating sector-specific drivers such as construction activity, infrastructure spending and cost inflation.

Integrated technical analysis to evaluate market trends and price behaviour, alongside macroeconomic assessment focused on New Zealand's interest rate environment and construction cycle. Complemented this with analyst consensus review and market sentiment analysis to validate assumptions.

The analysis also included ESG evaluation, focusing on sustainability exposure and long-term strategic positioning, as well as supplier and input cost analysis to understand margin pressures. This project highlights proficiency in valuation techniques, financial modelling, macro-financial linkage analysis and investment research, showcasing the ability to synthesise diverse data sources into actionable insights.
